Once again our very own Tova Klein opens up her home to celebrate passover Seder with the VSC community. Everyone is welcome.
To prepare for the event, here is a list of things you may want to bring if you wish:
1. A Haggadah. This is the book we read from, during the Seder.
2. A Seder plate (can be an ordinary plate), and the following to put on it
Horseradish
A hard-boiled egg
A cooked potato or piece of onion or sprig of parsley
A piece of roasted meat
Charoset β any recipe you like
Orange (optional)
3. 3 matzahs with a covering for them.
4. Salt water
5. Wine or grape juice and a cup
6. Another cup for Elijah
7. Supper
For those of you who are not familiar with what some of these things mean, I encourage you to look them up on line. We will go over them at the Seder.
If you need help getting these things, speak to your social worker.
