Join pianist Giancarlo & Soprano Kerrigan as they perform works that invite the community to reflect, ranging from nostalgic to upbeat! They'll combine art song, opera, and musical theater!
New York-based Peruvian American Giancarlo Llerena is a pianist, collaborator, teaching artist, and aspiring arts leader. Giancarlo has been awarded top prizes in several competitions, including the National YoungArts Competition, and has also attended the Tanglewood Institute and the Aspen Music Festival on full scholarship.
Soprano Kerrigan Bigelow, from North Andover, Massachusetts, is a Master's Vocal Performance major at the Juilliard School, where she recently completed her Bachelor's of Music. In competition, Kerrigan is a New England Region Finalist of the Laffont Competition, a grant recipient of the Gerda Lissner Lieder/Song Competition, and an encouragement award winner at Opera Index.
