Examine artist Mark Podwal’s modern take on the original woodcuts from the Sefer Minhagim (Book of Customs), and find out how he incorporated hair dryers, trumpets, Day-of-the-Dead masks, and microwaves in this lighthearted exhibit.
Scott is the Senior Mgr for Education & Accessibility at the Museum at Eldridge Street. As a historian, museum educator,& lifelong New Yorker, he loves to bring the history of his native city to life. In his current position, Scott plans & leads the intensive CASA program, creates new educational content and public programs, and develops new access programs to ensure that the Museum engages all audiences. He was a Sr Educator at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum & has an M.A. in History.
