Denise worked in various libraries as a librarian for 35+ years, retiring in 2018. After retiring, she wanted to get more involved with her community, so she now volunteers at her local Senior Center, school lunch program, and various other organizations, including the VSC! Denise spends time with family, reading, crocheting, and cooking when she's not volunteering.
