Many of us have memories of how we spent the Jewish New Year and Yom Kippur in the past, and how differently we celebrate them today. We will look at traditions from our past as well as new ideas on how to make the holidays meaningful today.

Recently, Norman had the opportunity to visit one of the few that is still operating, under different ownership and with a different name. We will discuss memories of these trips and review recent photos of the area.

Norman began hosting classes for the VSC in 2012 and continues to lead programs for Selfhelp as well as several other organizations serving older adults. Norman spent parts of many summers visiting the Catskills; his parents also honeymooned there in 1953.
